Snow Removal Updates

Update#3:

Thank you to our residents for the patience and cooperation exhibited during the recovery efforts. Virginia has been declared a State of Emergency and everyone faces challenges encountered by this record breaking storm.

Premium Lawn Services was onsite last night and began clearing snow and streets onTeakwood Court. Crews were having difficulty plowing while a vehicle was parked in the middle of the street. It’s going to take longer than usual to get the community plowed out from this storm.

Old Mill Community Council Inc. (OMCC) wants you to know that they are still working to get to all of the areas for which they are responsible as safely and effectively as possible. However, this storm has taxed private, state, and county resources to their limits, with plowing delays occurring throughout all of Northern, Virginia. OMCC is no different and Premium Lawn Services have extended their thanks to residents for their patience.

Crews will be onsite and working to clear the community streets! While we know everyone will be anxious when the plows will be in the community, we must keep the lines clear to help us respond to emergency life-threatening situation. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Update#2:

Steve/Premium Lawn Services are currently onsite and clearing road access on Teakwood. Cleanup and recovery throughout the entire community is estimated at 3-days.

Important:

There is a Black Toyota Camry car parked in the middle of the street  that is blocking snow removal on Teakwood Ct. The license plate is #VA WXK-6163.

Premium, our snow removal services indicated they are currently assisting and clearing road access for Emergency Medical Services (Hospitals), Fire, & Police facilities.  Once they are cleared, Old Mill Community is on their list today for late afternoon/early evening service.  In the meantime, please refrain from shoveling snow into the middle of the road and more importantly, covering fire hydrants.  Please try to move the excess snow onto sidewalks or onto front yards where it will not impede snow removal.
