Covenants to Protect our Community

All owners in our community are members of the Old Mill Community Council (also know as the homeowners association, HOA, and often referred to as the association). As such, we are bound by our covenants and bylaws. Our community was carefully designed to reflect a traditional colonial atmosphere, in line with the rich history of Burke Village and Fairfax County. To that effect, Old Mill is an architecturally-controlled community, and any modifications to the exterior of a home or its landscaping must be approved in advance by our Architectural Committee.

Board & Committees

The operation of our homeowners association is governed by a board of volunteer directors. The Board of Directors is elected by the community to oversee the daily functions and financial responsibilities of the Association. The Board is also responsible for maintaining members’ compliance with the established covenants and bylaws of the Association. Please take the time to read through the Bylaws and Covenants documents you received during the home purchase process. Copies are available on this web site.
