Old Mill Community continues to suffer from several major safety and security problems that we need your help in finally resolving.
With the warming of the seasons, we all are now spending more time outdoors. Unfortunately, this also applies to those interested in easy profit through crime. To make it hard and therefore unattractive for these folks to target our community be sure you take the following steps:
- Always lock your cars if left unattended.
- Keep doors closed, even if you are at home.
- Do not leave valuables inside your car.
- Never leave your keys inside the car.
- Never leave your car running unattended
- Keep your doors locked.
- Possibly turn on flood lights occasionally to keep the neighborhood illuminated.
While the Old Mill Community Council, Inc Board of Directors is committed to ensuring the safest and most secure environment for all our residents and their guests, we cannot do it by ourselves.
If you observe any suspicious activity, please call the Fairfax Police Department immediately.
