Santa Claus is Coming to Town!!

Burke Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department

It’s that time of year! Santa will be visiting the neighborhoods around Station 14 with Santa’s trusty fire and rescue sleigh! We will be having 15 main Santa run’s this year starting December 1st.

We have modified our routes this year in order to reduce the number of runs we perform and provide more efficiency in our movements. To help describe when, and where, Santa will visit atop Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department’s Engine 414B, the list of each Santa Run, with a description of neighborhoods being visited and a corresponding highlighted map showing a rough idea of the overall route, is below. If your street is not highlighted, please come to the next closest street in order to ensure you do not miss Santa!

Watch live on our website as Santa runs his route each night so that you can be guaranteed not to miss him! Santa Tracker will be live starting with our first run on December 1st.

On weekdays Santa Runs will take place between 6:00 and 9:00 PM, and on weekends between 5:00 and 9:00 PM.

If Santa is unable to visit due to weather or other circumstances, makeup days will be announced. If makeup dates are used the affected boxes and neighborhoods will be listed on the BVFRD website and social media.

Please note that the driver must maintain the safety of Santa and the crew at all times. Unlike responding to an emergency or landing on a roof for the big show, Santa cannot be guaranteed to come down every street. Parked cars, power lines, low branches, and tight roads with limited radius for turn around are the main reasons for bypassing an area. Please keep this in mind as we begin our holiday runs. We will do our best to visit every area but must balance that with safety and time constraints.

Please email staffing@bvfrd.org if you have any questions or concerns about the Santa Runs.
